Region 7 had plenty of interest at the 2007 World Championships, and returned with a mix bag of results.

Stars of the show must be the individuals who claimed a "clean sweep" for Region 7! Ian Kettel and Sharon Dickson (both Kent) and Steven Petty (Surrey) winning the Men's, Ladies and Junior World Masters titles.

Official "underdog of the year" goes to Rob McKay from London, who got all the way to the Men's World Championships Semi-final.

Emma Cunningham (Kent) had to settle for runners-up in the WC Ladies event, loosing to Sue Thompson (Sco) again.

In the team events, England Ladies boasting numerous Region 7 players were beaten in the final by Australia. England Juniors won the title with the help of Steven Petty & Kyle Pickett (Surrey) and Jack Pople (London)
